Tennis God Roger Federer secure his fans that he are round the game in some capability and “won’t be a ghost” when his retirement from competitive court game.

The 20-time Grand slam champion declared last week that he would retire from competitive tennis game when the Laver Cup, that begins on Friday at London’s O2 Arena.

Federer last contend a competitive match at Wimbledon, wherever he lost to Hubert Hurkacz within the quarterfinals last year, and has been handling a knee issue.

The star participant confessed that he has fallen crazy with the sport and it’s troublesome to remain off from it.

“I talked about Bjorn Borg. I don’t think he returned to Wimbledon for 25 years. I don’t think I’ll be that guy and I feel tennis has given me too much. I have been around the game for too long. Have fallen in love with too many things,” Federer was quoted as saying by Sky sports.

Speaking at a packed news conference at the O2, the 41-year-old explained he had plans to remain concerned in court game within the future, locution “”I just wanted to let the fans know I won’t be a ghost.”

Roger expressed his need to be related to the sport and to be around folks as he idolized doing that and required time to make your mind up in what capability would he need to come back.

“I love seeing people again, and that’s kind of what I wanted to let the fans know that you’ll see me again. Not just never again. Now what it could be, in what capacity, I don’t know. So I still have to think about it a little bit but give myself time,” said Federer.

The Swiss legend additionally explained his thought method before he created the announcement of his retirement.
