Lucknow Super Giants trounce Sunrisers Hyderabad by 12 runs to book their second consecutive victory in their first season.
Trailing 170 for the victory, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost openers Williamson and Abhishek Sharma, and Aiden Markram fell on 12 as the side collapsed to 83 for 3 following 11 overs. Avesh Khan dismissed both the openers whilst Krunal Pandya grabbed the wicket of Aiden Markram.
Krunal then eradicated Rahul Tripathi (44) as well. Avesh fetched 4 and Jason Holder grabbed 3 wickets in the final over as Hyderabad managed to post just 157/9 in 20 overs.
Before, KL Rahul (68 off 50) and all-rounder Deepak Hooda (51 off 33 balls) strike half-centuries as Lucknow Super Giants scored 169 for 7. Holder ended with 3/34 and Krunal also summed 2 wickets under his belt.
