The Tokyo 2020 Olympics is finally here. The opening ceremony will take place from 4:30 pm Indian Standard Time. A total of 20 Indian athletes from seven sports and six officials will participate in the opening ceremony. The number of Indian athletes participating in the opening ceremony is limited to 20 because of the fear of contracting the coronavirus.
Flag bearers
The flag bearers for the Indian contingent at the opening ceremony will be the 6-time world champion boxer MC Mary Kom and Indian men’s hockey team captain Manpreet Singh. The flag bearer for the closing ceremony on the 8th of august will be wrestler Bajrang Punia.

The fans can watch the opening ceremony on the following channels. Sony Ten 2 HD/SD, Sony Six, and Sony Six HD will be broadcasting live with English commentary and the channel Sony Ten 3 HD/SD and Sony Ten 4 HD/SD will be broadcasting with Hindi commentary.
