Lucknow Super Giants added several key names to their squad at the IPL 2026 auction, including experienced pacer Anrich Nortje and young talent Naman Tiwari. They also invested in promising uncapped batters Akshat Raghuvanshi and Mukul Choudhary, while Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga emerged as a bargain buy.
Before the auction, LSG strengthened their roster through trades by bringing in Mohammed Shami and Arjun Tendulkar. The overseas trio of Mitchell Marsh, Nicholas Pooran, and Aiden Markram finished IPL 2025 as the team’s top three run-scorers. Heading into the auction, LSG had four overseas vacancies out of six total slots to fill.
