West Indies Face Setback as Brandon King Doubtful for Remainder of T20 World Cup

The West Indies team has incurred a huge blow with opening batsman Brandon King doubtful for the remainder of the T20 World Cup 2024. King suffered a side strain during the team’s recent match against England in St. Lucia on June 19.

King had provided an aggressive start for the West Indies, scoring a brisk 23 off 21 balls, including a massive 101-meter six off English pacer Reece Topley. However, his innings was abruptly cut short when he injured himself attempting a shot over the covers off Sam Curran on the next ball.
