An appeal by the Chilean football federation (FFCH) has been registered by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against FIFA\u2019s call to permit Ecuador to participate at the world Cup despite allegations they fielded associate degree ineligible player, it stated on Friday.<\/p>\n

World governing body FIFA earlier this month discharged associate degree attractiveness within the case of Ecuadorean player Byron Castillo, who Chile had alleged was ineligible to play.<\/p>\n

Castillo performed in eight of Ecuador\u2019s qualifying games \u2013 as well as double against Chile for the Qatar tournament as they took fourth place, whereas Chile finished seventh.<\/p>\n
