With plethora of transfers completed and possibly many more on the way,\u00a0Laporta spoke\u00a0to discuss what activities he is currently involved in and what other dealings everyone can expect.<\/p>\n

Ousmane Dembele\u2019s renewal\u00a0was an imperative topic of discussion during the interview. On which, Laporta stated:\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cThe contract ends in the summer and we have to sit down and talk. I know he is comfortable at Barcelona. We\u2019ll see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

About the possible union of Erling Haaland and the return of Lionel Messi, he stated: \u201cHaaland? We are not going to incorporate any player who alters the salary system. As for Messi, the doors are always open at Barcelona.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

On Xavi, whose leadership has led to a magnificent revival for the team, he stated: \u201cHiring Xavi is one of the best decisions I\u2019ve made during this mandate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Laporta also overlooked some other pieces of business, counting the contract with CVC, which still remains a probability. Nevertheless, he says that he wants to assure the deal is actually feasible and will not create any debt in the coming future.<\/p>\n

He spotlights that if not for the CVC agreement, he has two other options to augment income for the club.<\/p>\n

The Barcelona president was also questioned about the team\u2019s chances for the La Liga title this season, to which he stated:\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cWinning La Liga is always possible. We found the identity of our game with Xavi, the challenge is possible but we must first beat Sevilla on Sunday.\u201d<\/p>\n
