The\u00a0BCCI\u00a0has recognized 5 practice locations in Mumbai for the league stage of\u00a0IPL 2022\u00a0\u2014 the Mumbai\u00a0Cricket\u00a0Association (MCA) ground in Bandra-Kurla Complex, the\u00a0Brabourne Stadium\u00a0at the Cricket Club of India,\u00a0DY Patil Stadium, the Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai and the MCA ground in Thane.<\/p>\n

The upcoming season of the\u00a0IPL\u00a0will commence from March 26^{th<\/sup> with a competition between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium, and end on May 22nd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n}

Each team will be settled in a separate hotel to assure that the bio-secure environment is created and looked after each of the hotels with \u2018dedicated areas\u2019 for the teams. A green corridor will be established for the teams to certify a \u2018safe passage and smooth movement\u2019 of the 10 teams for games and practice.<\/p>\n

The teams are presumed to start appearing in Mumbai around 8^{th<\/sup> of March, and following a three to five-day quarantine period, will begin practicing from March 14th<\/sup> or 15th<\/sup> onwards.<\/p>\n}

Considering the IPL\u2019s bio-secure protocols, the participants who will be a part of the bubble \u2014 players, support staff, match officials, commentators, broadcast crew and other participants who are important of the tourney will go through strict quarantine for 3-5 days prior entering their respective bubbles.<\/p>\n
