David Alaba has been taking time to throwback on his early days as a\u00a0Real Madrid\u00a0player, now that he has sorted out into life at Valdebebas and in the Spanish capital.<\/p>\n

He appeared on a free transfer from\u00a0Bayern Munich last summer, and has taken to life in Madrid with relative relieve. It was not all smooth, though.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt [Bayern] was a second home after 13 years there,\u201d Alaba notified. \u201cI had an important role at the club and in the team.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI knew the city from top to bottom and I had a lot of friends in Munich. I had to give up a lot of comfort to join\u00a0Real Madrid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Having described that 2021 was \u201can exciting year for him\u201d and one full of emotion,\u00a0Alaba voiced about his time in Madrid so far.<\/p>\n
