Tilottoma Sen and Mehuli Ghosh picked 2 gold medals for India within the fifteenth Asian Airgun Championship in Daegu, Korea on Saturday.
Mehuli secure the gold within the women’s 10m air rifle event, beating Cho Eunyoung of Korea 16-12. Le Alexandra of Kazakhstan win the bronze.
It was one-two end for India within the 10m women’s air rifle junior event with Tilottama and Nancy winning the gold and silver severally.
Tilottama defeated Nancy 17-12 within the final to say the highest honours, whereas Nobata Misaki of Japan won the bronze.
Indian shooters began their campaign within the tournament on a positive note by secure a gold, silver and bronze on Friday.
The gold came from Olympian Divyansh Singh Panwar within the men’s 10m air rifle junior event, whereas Kiran Ankush Jadhav shot a silver within the corresponding senior competition. Sri Karthik Sabari dominion Ravishankar won a bronze within the junior men’s air rifle.
