How long will it take for Rishabh Pant to make a comeback? Sourav Ganguly made a big disclosure

A big news has come out about Team India’s star wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant. Unfortunately, on 30 December 2022, Rizbhav Pant was seriously injured in a car accident.  Although the condition is not serious, Pant has to undergo surgery on his knee & he has been ruled out of IPL 2023.

However, in such a situation, how is Pant’s health and when will he come on the field, the fans are worried about this. Many earlier reports were not entirely true, however, former India captain and Delhi Capitals coach Sourav Ganguly gave a statement regarding Pant’s return.

“I spoke to him a couple of times. Obviously he is going through a tough period, through injuries and surgeries and I wish him well. In a year’s time or may be in a couple of years’ time, he will be back playing for India,” Ganguly was quoted as saying by PTI.

Delhi is yet to announce Pant’s replacement for IPL 2023. It has been reported that Delhi could opt for young talent Abhishek Porel or veteran Sheldon Jackson, with Ganguly yet to decide who would be better suited.

Delhi will also need to find a captain and David Warner may get the job. Delhi Capitals have held a three-day training camp in Kolkata, which saw Ishant Sharma, Chetan Sakaria, Manish Pandey and other domestic players.
