On Tuesday one of the most skillful batter Shubman Gill slammed his maiden hundred for Glamorgan against Sussex in their County Championship Division two match in Hove.

Batting on 91 long, Gill notched his eighth superior century in 123 balls, displaying his big range of fantastic shots all round the County Ground in Hove.

Overall Gill smashed sixteen boundaries and 2 sixes in his knock of 119 off 139 balls before being laid-off by off-spinner Jack Carson once he holed  his wicket Sean Hunt.

The 23 years old batted for 3 hours and twenty three minutes as he got out with Glamorgan’s 1st innings score, reading 277/5 within the opening session of day 2.

Gill 1st placed on a 57-run stand with Glamorgan skipper David player (56). underneath floodlights on day one, Gill and Billy Root had very little hassle in adding eighty seven runs before the latter got call at the eighth over of the day.

Indian top-order batter Gill has been within the sort of his life having scored a maiden International century — a hundred thirty — in an ODI against Zimbabwe last month.
