Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) created history by winning the IPL 2025 title. They defeated Punjab Kings in the final. It was RCB’s first IPL trophy in 18 years. The team was led by Rajat Patidar. Senior players like Virat Kohli, Josh Hazlewood, Krunal Pandya, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar played key roles.
RCB were strong in away matches during the season. Their squad looked balanced from start to finish. Ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction, RCB had a purse of INR 16.4 crore. They had eight slots to fill. The franchise did not make any player trades. This showed confidence in their core group.
