Music director and filmmaker Palash Muchhal has finally spoken about his rumored relationship with India Women’s cricket star Smriti Mandhana. For months, fans have been curious about their bond. Now, Muchhal has confirmed that they will soon get married.
Speculation about their relationship started long ago. They were often seen together in public. Photos of them on social media added more fuel to the talk. Until now, both had never confirmed being a couple.
During an event at the State Press Club on Friday, October 17, Muchhal was asked about Mandhana. With a smile, he gave a playful but clear reply.
“She will soon become the daughter-in-law of Indore… that’s all I want to say. I’ve given you the headline,” said Muchhal to reporters as quoted by Times of India.
“My best wishes are with Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti (Mandhana). We always want the Indian cricket team to win every match and bring glory to the country,” he added.
Muchhal is a popular name in the music world. He has composed music for many Bollywood films along with his sister Palak Muchhal. His songs are known for their catchy and melodious tunes. Besides music, he is also a filmmaker.
He is currently working on his directorial project ‘Raju Bajewala’. The film stars Avika Gor, famous for Balika Vadhu, and Chandan Roy, known for Panchayat, in lead roles.
Smriti Mandhana Ready for England Match in ICC Women’s World Cup 2025
Smriti Mandhana, India’s vice-captain and star opening batter, is in Indore for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. India will face England on Sunday, October 19.
Mandhana has scored 134 runs in four innings so far. Her best performance came against Australia Women, where she smashed 80 runs. She formed a strong partnership with Pratika Rawal.
India Women lost that match by three wickets. But the team is still in a good position. They are fourth on the points table with two wins from four matches. Fans will be hoping Mandhana continues her good form as she prepares for the big England clash.
