In a thrilling encounter at the Shakurpur Cricket Ground, New Delhi, the 2nd K.K. Tiwari Memorial Cricket Tournament witnessed a stellar display of cricketing prowess as Noor Mohammad and Saiansh Vohra propelled Delhi Cricket Hub to a resounding victory over Uday Bhan Cricket Academy.

Player of the Match, Noor Mohammad, showcased sheer brilliance with the bat, amassing an incredible 241 runs off just 119 deliveries, including an astonishing 41 boundaries. Not to be outdone, Saiansh Vohra’s magnificent innings of 222 runs from 104 balls, adorned with 40 boundaries and a maximum, added significant firepower to Delhi Cricket Hub’s imposing total of 529/3 in their allotted 40 overs.

Uday Bhan Cricket Academy struggled to contain the onslaught, with their bowlers bearing the brunt of Noor and Saiansh’s onslaught. Manav and Krishna Singh Sharma managed to pick up a couple of wickets, but their efforts were overshadowed by the relentless batting display from the Delhi Cricket Hub duo.

Chasing a mammoth target of 530 runs for victory, Uday Bhan Cricket Academy faltered under the pressure of an insurmountable task. Despite a valiant effort from Kumud Jain, who scored 35 runs, and Krishna Singh Sharma’s contribution of 18 runs, the team could only muster 113/8 in their 40 overs.

Rashid Husain and Dipesh led the bowling attack for Delhi Cricket Hub, picking up crucial wickets to further dent Uday Bhan Cricket Academy’s hopes of staging a comeback. Their disciplined bowling restricted the opposition batsmen, ultimately securing a comprehensive victory for Delhi Cricket Hub by a staggering margin of 416 runs.

In recognition of his commendable performance under challenging circumstances, Kumud Jain was awarded the ‘Fighter of the Match’ for his gritty knock amidst the onslaught from the opposition bowlers.
